“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, “Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness…” (Psalm 95:6-8)
God speaks to us every day, whether it’s through prayer, His Word, or other people, events, or circumstances He chooses to use. While His number one way of communicating with us is through Scripture, the more we devote time into getting to know Him through prayer and the Word, the more we will be able to recognize and discern His voice however He chooses to speak in our lives. He is a relational God and He absolutely wants to communicate with us regularly!
What is He saying to you today? Are you tuned in to hear and recognize His voice amidst all of the noise? Are you positioning yourself to receive a word from Him? Let’s be children of the Father that not only want to hear from Him, but spend time building our relationship with Him so that we know when He is speaking to us.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me…” (John 10:27)
