I’m a husband to my amazing and beautiful wife, father of two wonderful children, and a tech industry worker living in the Dallas, TX area. But most importantly, I’m a follower of Jesus and ever-growing child of God!

My blog is a simple collection of thoughts as I reflect on His Word, wrestle with my own fallen state of humanity, and marvel at the works and character of our awesome Creator! I’ve called it “Sing the Word” because I personally love music, and I believe that God has given each of us the ability to create art that reflects His heart and proclaims His Word.

Ultimately my desire for this blog is to bring glory to God, and to draw myself and others to more intimately know Christ. I hope to leave a written legacy for my family and children to read, that they may know their husband and daddy loves Jesus, and them, with all of his heart!

Lastly, I need to mention that whatever I write about is coming from a place of humility, with a longing and desire to apply it in my own life. It may sometimes sound like I have it all together simply because I’m reflecting on God’s Word, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

I am broken and hopeless without Jesus. I am completely insufficient without the power of the Holy Spirit. And outside of God’s Word, I have no wisdom of my own that brings life. But because of Him, I’ve graciously received incomparable love, joy, hope, and peace that I desire each of you to find through Christ!
