“So Joshua said to the Israelites: ‘How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, have given you?'” (Joshua 18:3)
There are times in my life when I drag my feet, reluctant to obey what God is calling me to do. Do you ever find yourself in the same situation?
“Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the desert.” (Joshua 14:10a)
When’s the last time you kept a promise that you made to someone from 5 years ago? How about from 45 years ago?
“But to the tribe of Levi, Moses had given no inheritance; the Lord, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he promised them.” (Joshua 13:33)
One of the things that I’ve enjoyed as my relationship with Jesus has grown, is learning more and more about how He’s uniquely designed me to serve Him. (more…)

“As the Lord commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua did it; he left nothing undone of all that the Lord commanded Moses.” (Joshua 11:15)
Thankfully it’s very rare when this happens, but yesterday our children disobeyed and continued to use their iPad after their mom clearly told them to stop. Because of that they were disciplined and also lost some privileges they would have gained for later that day, had they been obedient to our instruction. (more…)
