Crucified With Christ

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

Some people like to call it their “B.C.” or “Before Christ” years, referring to the period of their life before coming to faith and salvation in Jesus. I remember mine, and it wasn’t pretty.

He Knows My Name (John 20:15-16)

“‘Woman,’ he said, ‘why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?’ Thinking he was the gardener, she said, ‘Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Mary.’ She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, ‘Rabboni!’ (which means Teacher). Cursed and Attacked (Psalm 109:27-28)

“Let them know that it is your hand, that you, Lord, have done it. While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.” (Psa. 109:27-28)

Once in while, we’re going to run into people that oppose us. And when we openly share our faith, we will ABSOLUTELY run into people who oppose God and our Christian views. If you haven’t run into that yet, then you may not be sharing your faith enough… jus’ sayin! 😉 #foodforthought (more…)
