“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.” (Psa. 51:1-2)

Psalm 51 is an amazing expression of repentance as David pleas for God’s forgiveness, mercy, cleansing, and purification from his sins of murder and adultery. As sinful humans living in a fallen world, we will all sin and we all fall short of God’s glory (Rom. 3:23). (more…)
