Crucified With Christ

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

Some people like to call it their “B.C.” or “Before Christ” years, referring to the period of their life before coming to faith and salvation in Jesus. I remember mine, and it wasn’t pretty.

Promise Keeper (Hosea 1:10)

“Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.'” (Hosea 1:10)

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever- do not abandon the works of your hands.” (Psa. 138:6-8)

Although my family is going through a worrisome situation with my wife’s health right now, the Lord is faithful to send daily reminders through His Word that He is walking with us, and will not leave us nor forsake us! (more…)

Fear God (Psalm 128:1-4)

“Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your sons will be like olive shoots around your table. Thus is the man blessed who fears the Lord.” (Psa. 128:1-4)

WOW – what an awesome PROMISE from God to husbands and fathers! If you’ve been praying for your wife to overflow with the light and love of Christ, and for your children to be saplings of Jesus, growing in the discipline and fear of the Lord, then the equation is simple: (more…)
