Sound Advice (Proverbs 12:5)

“The plans of the righteous are just, but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.” (Prov. 12:5)

I often have the opportunity to give advice to people. For whatever reason, people tend to come to me (for better or worse!) to seek counsel, and if you take a look at your daily interactions and relationships, you may find yourself in the same situation. (more…)

Absolutely Crazy

People, reading in the book of Matthew again is SO SO GOOD! In just these first 8 chapters alone, there is so much meat and so many truths and so much wisdom and so much JESUS. It’s really awesome… ya’ll should try it. ūüėČ But anyway, at the end of chapter 8, this little encounter with Jesus stood out to me this morning.

You’re in the minority if you actually have your dream job- the “job I would choose to do if money weren’t a factor”. We all have that dream position in our minds. (more…)

Being Heard

I wanted to see if the kids felt that we serve the same God who answered the prayers of His people so very long ago in the Bible. (more…)
