“At the roots of the mountains; I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God.” (Jonah 2:6)

We may often find ourselves in regrettable situations due to our own decisions. If I choose to make a poor decision that goes against God’s will or direction for my life, then I better be ready to face whatever consequences that God will either bring or allow to draw me into repentance.
