“I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.” (Psa. 57:9-11)

It’s cool because last week I was praying for God to give me the song set for this coming Sunday since I’m leading worship at church. One of the songs that God put on my heart last week is the song “Your Love Oh Lord” by Third Day. It’s an old song written in 1999, but check out the lyrics…

Obviously Third Day took lines from Psalm 57 as the basis of the lyric, and I guess God is giving me confirmation that this is one of the songs I should lead this Sunday! I love it when He makes it that easy. 😉

How great is God’s love, faithfulness, and righteousness! Nothing on the earth compares to it, and our natural world can neither contain it nor truly define it! While we’re still in this present life I don’t think we’ll ever be able to fully grasp or comprehend the limitless, boundless nature and goodness of God. Just another reason God has reminded me today, that every moment of our lives should be filled with praise and worship to Him.

Heavenly Father, give us the desire and commitment to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You! Let Your Holy Spirit lead and guide us daily, and let the fruit of your Spirit abundantly flow from within us at all times, for the sake of Your Name and for the blessing of others! Amen!
